Windows is an operating System, which can perform intermediary role in computer, it gets commands from user and process them and display result on the screen.

Desktop:-            First screen of the windows is called desk top.

Icons:-                Programs or application having small shape pictures displayed at desktop are called icons.

Arrow/Pointer: An arrow moving with mouse on screen of the computer is called pointer.

Task Bar:-            A bar displayed at the bottom of the desk top is called task bar having system clock      and startup menu buttons.

System Clock:-   Time displayed at right side of the task bar is called system clock.

Start up menu:-   On the left side of the task bar menu opend is called startup menu.

Pop up menu:-  With the right click of mouse on desk top a window appears is called popup menu.

Personalize:-     

1.Themes:-          To change the background of the screen, window color, sounds, arrow shape and task bar look from this option.

2.Back Ground:-               To change the back ground of desk top or wall paper of the screen from this option.

3.Sounds:-          To set the sounds on each performed option in computer from this option.

4. Window Color:- To Set the color of each opened windows.

5. Screen Saver:- To Set the Screen saver for screen resolution movements 3D text for Name Moving on screen of the computer.
